Yes done it on my Corsa works a treat! Must be late M2 1600 (yr 84-88)

yes it works as cornwallcorsa says se 22 spline cav mk2 1600 inner cv joints

22spline gsi shafts... the cav mk2 1.6 inner cvs fit the f16 or f20 box, and the other end fits the corsa shafts

Don't worry about it becuase your not going to be finding many Mk2 Cav's down the scrappy now are you....

if you use a 22 spline shafts
the inner CV end will fit the 2lt 16v gearbox
and the other end will fit standard Corsa CV
so no need to get New hubs barings etc etc

wounder if you can buy them brand new? from Vauxhall and how much?

Cos if its cheaper then £160
£80 for Vauxhall wheel Barings
£80 for the hubs

may be worth it

I just got a set of bearings and a pair of internal gaiters, and external gaiters for £60 from Autovaux.

ok so just to clarify before i buy some, i need mk2 cav shafts and just put my corsa cvs on the ends? sounds too simple...

but finding a 22spline 1.6 mk2 cav shafts is not so simple

no you need mk2 inner cvs and corsa gsi shafts,you can still buy cvs from motor factors.

Ive done this and I got brand new cav inner cvs from my local motor shop for £33 each exchange....

And any Corsa GSI shafts will do, £50 off here or ebay...
