i got 1.2 8v and been reading about drillin my airbox, but come mot time will it fail if he spots the holes is it worth pickin one up from a scrappy and swaping it for the mot. thanx please reply

nice 1 just drill um on the wing side yeh so no hot air gets dragged in??

Mine makes a nice roaring noise along with a pipercross panel filter, no difference in performance but I wasn't expecting it really on a 1.0

wont make much diff to performance,
mainly sound thats about it
it wont fail the MOT
and make sure you have a cold air feed running from the lower grill to the holes, use ducting hose from halfords
