Well I got those zalman headphones, plugged em in, set them up for surround sound, great.
When I try the microphone, it doesn't work.
I go into Sound and Audio Devices, click the Voice Tab, choose the audigy as the device, then click test hardware.
The progress bar gets to the end, then I get two messages one after the other:
"An Error occured during Direct play voice setup. The error code is 0x80004005"
I click OK, then get
"Windows cannot execute DPVSetup.exe, Use add remove programs to install"
So i try the latest creative drivers, I download them, click to install, then it says "no audigy device installed" or some bullcrap. I tried creatives auto update, it detected the card, got the downloads but then denied any knowledge again once they started installing.
