This way, we can conclude that graphics adapters based on NVIDIA GPUs are more suitable for:
Professional gamers caring more about high fps rates rather than image quality;
Those who are not interested in the next generation games;
NVIDIA products fans
Those who work with professional 3D applications.
^ thats sums them up
gforce now

Sound Card?
If you're prepared to splash out for top-quality sound, go for the new Creative Labs Audigy 2 Platinum Pro ZS7.1 (click here for details).

get an ATI card all the way mate Nvida have let themselves down with their new cards and just arnt as good as they used to be. ATI on the other hand, have improved all of their technology and their new cards are top notch mate
As for soundcards, get a creative if you want something that will do the job, but dont get an external jobby that uses USB or Firewire - basically no point. However, i would go for something like hercule's sound cards or Terractec DMX Fire card - top notch the DMX's are, and they are on the boarders of proffesional music production cards
edit: Chris - even though you have "done" the tests, reviewers put them through alot more than what you have done, simple as. Also it depends on what system spec your running to, will equal different performance...so a GeForce might be better in your machine, but wack it in a higher/lower speac system it will act differently.
So icy, have a look at shite loads of reviews, especially overclocker ones since they will thrash the daylights outta the things and see what they are capable of doing Also get yourself down to a few local PC shops and have a look at a few in action. Then once you decided, buy it online - at ebuyer.co.uk, or scan.co.uk, dabs.com, overclockers.co.uk etc etc
