Mums been given this opertunity to get a laptop through her work at a discounted price. There are two different types of processor available, the celeron and centreno. Which ones better and for what?
They have desktops on offer as well with pentium 4s so would it be worth just gettin the desktop instead?? Laptop wouldnt me moved away from the house really just inside I supose.
What do you think?
Thanks

I personally prefer a proper desktop. Can't work on a laptop.

If it's not going anywhere, the desktop would be a better option. Generally, you'd get a better system for the same money, and they're better to work on.

If it's not going to be moved, get a desktop......if you get a laptop, get the Centrino.

Desktops are easier to repair and as Ian says, easier to work on.
