piss easy, guy in mig used to sell a cable, basically you open the ps2 up, remove the power board, and plug this cable where the power board used to plug in, this cable then has 2 wires positive and negative.

If its for the slim playstation 2 then you can buy an adapter which costs around £40.

Can you find a link to the one you replace the power board with a cable.
A cars power is very very dirty and I wouldn't like to plug it straight into my ps2 but i've heard of this before.

John i thought this myself, obviously voltage car vary in the car, however reading some of the other peoples comments that had bought them i decided to go for it, ive been using it over a year, ive used it without engine running, with engine running, and while starting the car and havnt had a problem, it replaced my normal power invertor which used to drain the battery.
