Is it possible to format a hard drive, but keep one folder ?
Got my downloads folder 30gb of stuff, and nowhere else to dump it, but wanna format windows and all other stuff from the drive...
any ideas?

You could download Partition Magic, create a new 30 gig partition and copy the stuff you want to keep to that. Then when you re-install your OS just put it on your C drive and your downloads will be safe on your new partition. That's pretty painless

as above.. search for partition magic on torrent sites and split it down.
