Anybody know where I can find one ( a proper gold plated, oxygen free copper etc...)?

Directional or bi-directional but should be Scart to DVI/S-Video/RCA

Basically, i need to connect a DVD player (scart) to a projector which can take either DVI/S-Video/RCA/composite but can also take HDMI using an adapter

I've already tried Ixos, Profigold, Thor, Monster, Qed (but looking at some on ebay)

I have an ixos scart to s-video connecting the dvd player to tv in my living room.

I'd go for that option.

It was most likely comet or currys/dixons.

I wouldn't have even considered that when i was looking.
I'm almost sure that its exactly what you're looking for but not sure enough to tell you to buy it(although i would)

If that is the only s-vid to scart one they make that will be it.

I already have a scart-svideo but not given good picture quality since it is directional (video-scart)

It's a DVD/Amplifier to be conencted to a projector, I just don't want to lose picture quality because of this

I was looking at a QED which is a proper one...

Post in here if you find out any different will you.

Converting it to dvi will be expensive though so the best be will be a scart to svhs that goes the correct way.

yep....Scart-DVI is only sold in the overseas in the US (did a search on google)
