Try adjusting it first, if it still squeels then time for a new belt.

sorry to hijack the thread, but mine has a squeek in the mornings when its cold and damp... it disappears when it warms up (well after a minute or 2 really)... What could this be, as the aux belt looks in fairly good order... Could it be the auto tensioner (no power steering or air con) ?? If so, could i do anything about this apart from getting a new one ?? Is there anyway of lubricating the bearings in it ??
Cheers (soz again for hijacking the thread !!)
[edit] its an X14XE by the way !!!

i solved mine with a can of anti belt slip spray. I feel this will only be tempery though. Although mine is tight and fairly new.
