not to long back my bottom end seized, had the car took to a garage on monday and got it back on friday, it had a full engine rebuild, only problem is on the car i have a clifford alarm and it has this feature if someone steals the car the engine cuts out unless you put a code in... any way they done the engine fine but only thing is now the engine management light keeps coming on, and on friday the car cut out and wouldnt start again, called the aa and her said its to do with the immobliser, but would this cause the EM light to stay on?
sorry about the essay

these are the codes and what they mean :-
1120 - throttle body malfunction
1405 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR)Valve
1503 - immobiliser control unit
0400 - Exhaust Gas Circulation Valve
0351 - ignition coils 1 and 4
0352 - ignition coils 2 and 3
1602 - Knock Controll Module
0110 - Intake Air Temperature Sensor (ATS)
0505 - ??? (there is a 0500 - Idle speed stepper motor/idle air regulator)
0335 - Crank Sensor
0105 - intake manifold pressure sensor
Hope that helps and makes sense,
Jon

well on my engine i have got a bmc air filter, mantzel inlet, 4-2-1 manifold and de-cat... so would this affect some of the codes as these mods have not been set up as of yet?
engine is a 1.6 sport x16xe only just been fully re-built aswell 10 miles ago

to be honest with that many faults it sounds like they did a cowboy job on the rebuild!
how long ago was it exactly since the rebuild to the faults, and how many miles since??

i think most of them faults may be due to inlet and exhaust manifold... there picking the car back up tomorrow so they can have another look at it, how can you solve the problem as you said ant???
