Got in my car a few minutes ago, it's idling at 2.5K, you tap the throttle and it will rise to about 4K. she was fine this morning, and no EM light.
Anyone got any ideas?

leak in the inlet system somewhere?

Just had a look. I was thinking along them lines. I had one vacum pipe not attached. re-connected, no change.
Then disconnected the MAP sensor and left it ticking for a couple of sseconds, re-connected then it's fine. May be on it's way out

I thought if it was a leak the revs would continue to rise not sit at 2500. Sure the throuttle wire isnt just caught on something and keeping the revs high, a bit sticky perhaps?

Nope. Disconnected it. It's easy to see with the Mantzel being on there.
