Anyone now much about this?
We have a small patch of land infront of our house that we have always used as our front garden but it actually belongs to the builder of the house.
He once asked us if we wanted to buy it for a £1000 but that was donkeys years ago.
How do you start claiming. If I win the lottery its just bigenough for a double garage

some law if you maintain it for 10yrs or so.....

no....its prescription.
If you've used the land for 10 years you will have a right to use the land....not own it.
