I have recently aqquired a Corsa 1.4SL becasue I totalled my old Rover 216 SLI 16V. The battery light on the Corsa comes on everytime I rev the engiene, thinking this was a alternator issue, I went out and bought a brand new one (£120!!). Fit the new alternator and the problem still persists......Has anyone had this problem before? I mean it may be a faulty switch, light, sensor....god knows.....anyone with any input would be gladly received

the battery may not be the right amperage for the alternator.

cos me dad got given it, and me dad (like anyone) would take it anyway if it had no wheels! Spoke to someone yesterday and they said it could be a loose wire on the battery, so I will get that checked out before I buy a new battery........
