So all woodwork replaced
All doors replaced
Cupboard built under stairs for electric meter
New floor on bottom hall
1 wall plastered
Few pics from last thread as it stands at moment.
Been like this for months till i had some more spare cash.
Next week : new banister and staircase..Then all the painting etc starts, 9 doors and all the woodwork.
Parts of walls need worked on and smoothed etc aswell
I'll keep this thread updated

Ah I thought you meant the boards & risers too - whole lot
Always good to see someone elses ideas, keep them coming
Think im going to sell my flat May next year & look something else to get stuck into - proper shack of a house to do up

Nah not going that far...with the boards etc...
Not far off completion though, once halls done, goot bathroom to do and the rear of the house then thats it
I want to do the hall a pale grey colour with the white banister..Also the one back wall i've seen smart grey paper for it..I had a sample before..
Can start all over again
I wouldn't fancy a total wreck to do up...Even though mine i am doing the whole house but it was in ok condition i suppose

When I say total wreck I mean everything structural is sound but all fixings needing upgrading - windows, doors, bath, kitchen etc!!!
I want to get a nice house maybe an old persons had & kept original & put my own stamp on it

Aah right Colin aye thats a good idea....Thought you meant a shack
Aye Marc I can do anything...
I get the joiner to do all the woodwork / doors and floors as they are perfect..But all painting/papering/changing switches / sockets and the rest is all me.

Will be finished tomorrow..
Still got all the wood on the outside of the stairs to be done, the spindles on main part and the wall side os stairs wood..
realy pleased how it is coming on...You can see the different design where banister is running right up to the top and across and not stopping at the roof line...
opinions.?
