Hey all, I removed my rubbing strip but found that the paint underneath was faded and the laquer damaged so now i want to re-attach it. I've tried using trim and bumper repair tape, but it just fell off eventually lol... What's the best thing to use?

i gave up in the end and went to vauxhall and bought a new rub strip that comes with tape on already, they cost about £15 a side brand new
