I noticed a slight tapping noise for the first minute after starting up today. its only faint and its quite fast. and seems to get faster when I put the pedal down a bit. Sorry for the brief rundown but it's all I got.

Anyone got any ideas?

What engine?

How old is the car?

Usually low oil, or worn lifters.

or give it a good service because you might have shitty oil.

doubt itll be the timing chain on a corsa b seeing as they dont have one

There are timing chains on corsa b's. On the 12v and 1.2 16v.

Change the oil and filter if it hasnt been done recently as that may help

Sorry I didnt reply im at Uni.

Yeah, I havent checked my Oil in a good month (or two)...! ill check that when I get in.

And sorry, I have a Corsa B (1.2 8v).

Cheers for the help! Ill let you know whats wrong, even though the dipstick in my car gives little or no indication as to what the oil level is! stupid red thing!
