Right i have a problem with my heaters blowing cold/warm only .. i have checked the pulleys by the passenger footwell and they seem to be moving ok only thing i havnt checked is the other end of the pully, also i have changed the stat but still no good
been reading around and some people seem to think it could be a airlock
how do i do this... its a X14XE engine

ive had a look but cant seem to find a proper explanation found along the lines of keep car running and take header tank lid off etc.. leave it running
but not really a step by step

Warm the engine upto 95oC
Take the lid of the expansion tank
Keep the revs around 2,000rpm
Wait until it bubbles over
Put lid back on, job done

do you reckon its a airlock causing this though ? no heaters

I'm not 100% sure TBH mate, does it run just above 90oC when driving?
