Anyone recommend one? Presuming Blue Ray is best as HD is on the way out

Not looking to spend enormous amounts of cash on one...Prob £250 tops...

It's an upscaling dvd player, it'll upscale dvd's.

Only reason i'd buy one would be because of the fact I could use hdmi to connect instead of a scart.

For the price, the PS3 has the best blu-ray technology available at the minute. (without spending alot more)

If your due a new mobile phone consider one with a free PS3

Any Blue Ray DVD recorders yet?.
Only seen the PC ones, Have seen a Samsung and Sony model but no info on UK release and seemed to be for the USA market.

i watched transformers through my PS3 (SD DVD) and it was amazing compared to a normal player, tbh your best off buying a PS3 you get everything then.

You don't get a recorder though

and ash_corsa the PS3 is not free, your paying for it with increased phone prices or highly monthly payment for the same contact deal without the 'gift'. Check out dialaphone and see what I mean.

Yeah i realise that, its just an easy way of paying for it if you dont have a spare £300 knocking about.
Usually get a free phone, plenty of mins and txts plus the PS3
