Hi Guys

Can anyone please advise what oil is used by Vauxhall when they service this engine and what the best oil to use with it is?

Car is a Vectra 1.8 VVT SRI 07 plate.

have you got the handbook it tells you there it's probably 10w40

I haven't got it to be hand as I'm at work, needed to pop out at lunchtime to get some.

Ring Vauxhall, as the car will still be under warranty and you don't want to be putting the wrong stuff in.

it wont be 10w40, will be GM longlife fully synthetic. cant remember the grade tho, something like 0w30 or 5w40.
