just a quick question lads and ladies

what are the biggest cams i could put in my car.. its a 1.4 sport.. and would i need a re-map or will it damged the engine with it running lumpy? thanks

running lumpy wont damage the engine asuch.

I would keep the cams to something sensible like 264's as anything else will too lairy to see the benifits on the road.

Remap will probably be needed as it moves the power band up so the rev limiter will need increasing to get the full potential.

Therefore you will also need arp bolts and metal cambelt rollers idealy to make the engine safer at the higher rpms.

Also not much point putting cams on with a standard inlet manfold so make sure that is done first
