also might have got one wrong as i doubt anything is wrong with the ECU car runs perfect
loads lol i recently did teh headgasket on teh car and the eml light has been on ever since i did start the car without the bottom pully on so teh crank sensor wouldnt have been reading e.t.c so a few wires might not have been conected will most of them just clear out if i get local dealer to put laptop on it? thanks lee

I'd say you have a dodgy earth when you put it all back together. You need to remove all earths and sand them to give a better connection.

id go with a dodgy earth.Probably the one either on the alternator,tb or fuel rail.

right iv had a quick look has anyone got a pic where the earth wires for the alternator are supposed to go as ive got a random torx bolt bolting them down which i think is wrong and there not actually pushed agains the alternator there on the alternator bracket at the top which is bolted to the top inlet manifold if people know what i mean? thanks lee
