really need some advice. i was guning it in 2nd doing 75mph went to put it into 3rd and for some reason it went into 1st the car slamed forward and then started splutteing when i pulled up car cut out and when i went to start it the startermoter just winded and poped now and again towed it home just dont know whats rong with it. Could it be the fly wheel or have i bent the valves only had the car for 4hours i only want advice off ppl that kno what they are talkin about thanks

lol i did this one in my 2.0 corsa redlined it in 2nd racing a clio v6 went to change to 3rd n it went in to 1st dint do no damage tho just lost lol

yes ive done it a couple times in my corsa xe too, went from redline of 4th to 3rd :s....again no damage luckily! lol

its had a lot off work done so it a very fast c20xe its chiped cammed forge pistons borded out 2 a 2.1 ported and polished race manifold bigger inlet lightend flywheel but i dont know how much bhp its got i was gutted when it happend i was told i have bent my valves and it havent slipped any teeth

The valves will be bent at least, depending how lucky you are there may be head/piston damage too.
To hit 70 MPH in second you would need to be on 17s (45 profile) with a rev limit of just over 10,000 RPM

yeah it does have 17 and the revlimit goes way past the 7k and then limits

Notnin mate, I got it a bit wrong, you would need 8k RPM to hit 75 in second on 17s but thats not a lot of use to you now.
Only way to see the dammage is to take the head off and have a look. are you any good at working on cars or do you know anyone who could look for you?

i can take the head off and tha tidy 2 have a look but when it comes 2 fixin the head i let the pros do that i lol nice 1n for the tip just hpoe the rings and tha havent gone cause they new forge pistons on it
