its fine when driving etc its just when its ticking over, sounds rough and tapping/ticking...
any ideas?
i need my thrust bearing changed soon (pay day), could it be that rattling?

when i first start it up it goes to 1.2k then drops to 800 where it sounds rough..
but sometimes when i come up to a junction etc it drops to 500 and judders (not very often though)

yea had the same probs with mine, its your ICV, but i didnt replace mine, the buttery fly attached to your acclerator cable it was just covered in crap, bit of carb cleaner and cleaned it up, works fine....if you get stuck look though the help zone, and the author was by me, theres a lot of info on there

If your thrust bearing has had it then that will make a racket whenever the engine is running
