I think that's steep, unless he's ordering and installing them in different stages as opposed to doing all 7 in 1 go.

Rehau is the plastic extruder who make the profiles.
It'll be another company who fabricates and installs the windows, or maybe another 2 separate companies.
Also the price depends on glass specification, level of reinforcement, whether you have a foil finish etc.
Obviously a minimally reinforced, white window with the minimum glass spec required to meet building regs will be cheaper than a wood grain foiled window with full reinforcement and a top spec glazing unit.
I had a quote for a replacement kitchen window a couple of weeks ago from a Rehau fabricator (70mm casements) for £446 supply and fit for 1780 x 1020 with minimum spec to meet requirements.

7 windows
not got order yet hes sending it out
2 tilt and turn for both bedrooms
1 small bathroom window
2 kitchen windows normal push out the bottom style
and one reinforced living room windowas its a certain height from the floor he said it had to be that incase you fell into it or whatever but that one will be the push out at the tops with a concrete beam in the middle of the main window as it is now

Rehau isnt a bad profile, But in all what we use at work the veka system sems to be about the best. (As we make arched windows for most of the window companys in the uk).
A foiled finish is one where it looks like wood. For example the woodgrain/rosewood frames (the brown ones) are foiled. We have also had some cream, white cherry, oak, grey and black foiled window frames coming through our factory.
Heres examples of the basic colours that most companys do
Heres some company names who do the different colours off the top of my head a company called Speedframe do grey there located in rotherham, A company called Crystal do the black foiled, John fredericks do the white and cream foiled there from huddersfeild

Ask him to give you a break down of the cost of each window.
I think you'll find that the T&T ones are a bit dearer due to more complex mechanisms than the casement alternative.
Toughened glass for your lounge doesn't make much difference on price. maybe a couple of quid psqm or so.
A lot of window companies quote over the odds expecting to be beaten down.
My boss was quoted £30k for his fairly large house, so he just ignored the quote, but they kept calling back and eventually offered to do it for abot £18k.
Just tell him you're looking for other quotes and want his final offer without having to start a dutch auction.

Ours cost £1900 with minster windows for 8 windows double glazing, so yours sound pretty expensive and they get them done in just over a day

far too expensive buddy.
My dad has his own company and has done for the past 15 years.I run the factory floor for him,know the rough prices of the windows.And i can say shop about as that seems far too steep.
And to be honest Rehau isnt the best profile imo.Although it is still a good product.
If it is rosewood all of the windows will have to be reinforced.
If you have a quote there with the window styles and sizes etc why dont you fax it over to me.Il get back to you with a price.
Were based 20 miles from Glasgow.

guy came out but we havent heard from him since
the gf cousin works for CRsmith and gets a 45 % discount to family members so going to get a price from is roasewood not just the finish? does it matter what finish you get for needing reinforced?

Rosewood is the finish and is a foil that's applied to the plastic.
It's dark so heats up more than normal white plastic. the heat affects the rigidity/strength of the windows, so needs full reinforcement to keep it the right shape.
a white window stays cooler, so is only reinforced over certain lengths.
less steel - less money
