Ah, it's a sorry state at the minute, as for your friend I suppose it's only a negative thing if he plans on selling immediately though.

I think what he means is his friend is coming to the end of his fixed term and wont be able to remortgage anywhere for 100%

indeed! he cant move as there is no 100%+ mortgages availble so will be paying a megga amount!
