Ah, it's a sorry state at the minute, as for your friend I suppose it's only a negative thing if he plans on selling immediately though.

I think what he means is his friend is coming to the end of his fixed term and wont be able to remortgage anywhere for 100%

indeed! he cant move as there is no 100%+ mortgages availble so will be paying a megga amount!

£0 at the moment, as I'm at home and a student. The deal was I live at home rent free, commute to Uni and my parents save money unlike when my sister was at Uni

As soon as I start earning, whether they want it or not, I'll be giving them £200/month.
