A lightened flywheel won't gain you any power, it will however be more willing to rev as you are reducing the rotating mass of the flywheel, the flip side is that they are more prone to 'bog down' if caught in the wrong gear when under an extreme load, such as climbing a hill as there is less potential energy in the flywheel.
Sure 20valver will be along shortly about airbox mods.
Certainly a strange comparison to make, the airbox is cheap and easy to fit, the flywheel more expensive and a box off job.
