right im looking at getting a janspeed 421 exhaust manifold. Im running the bower box of flame on my otherwise standard engine x16xe i thought it wud be a good idea to buy one as many people have them who have the box.
Im just wondering how to they work and is there any real benefit to having one fitted in terms of power? also are they just a direct replacement i.e no welding etc involved.
Any help would be much appriciated

there will be some power gains, and it will be a straight swap as far as i know,

Straight swap for the mani + about 4-6 bhp gain with your powerbox working correctly.

sorry to spam, but how else could you improve x14xe power without spending major money, getting a four branch have a straight through, and getting power box, what about ECU chips are they any good or waste of money

some chips are good, there is one that raises the limiter a little, so the power box will pull more, the further up the revs you go

Really liked mine 
Had it along with a power box and its a good combo.
The janspeed gives some nice low down gains and the power box gives you the high up gains
Drives supercharged Tec with torque

my mate just had a lexmaul on his engine and wasnt that much faster than mine (both x14xe) but now hes got the janspeed 4-2-1 it flys past
