car is a c20let in a corsa b
right when the car is really hot, say if iv been driving around all day or a long trip in traffic, once i turn the car off lock it etc. then when i return to the car and try to start it, the car will not start at all, no starter motor nothing, (all lights work etc, so not a power problem)
yet if i let it cool down lock it and come back 10 mins later it starts fine
could it be down to immobiser (sigma)
any ideas anyone?

mine did this, turned out to be crankshaft sensor, dont know if theres any connection there at all, but it would start once it cooled down / after a time period

i doubt its crank sensor... when that goes, the car should still turn over, it just wont fire up. your saying its not even doing that, so i'd be checking the starter motor and related wiring.

Incorrect. They will tend to cause that fault when they are just starting to fail. Id b suprised if it wasnt that tbh
