Hi, im not very tech minded when it comes to building computers so need some help.
Im a product designer and at work have a good PC but at home i only have my macbook which really doesnt let me do all the things i want to do.
basically want to build a small tower that can be used for solidworks, 3d studio mac, illustrator and photoshop only.
wheres the best place to buy parts from to build up.
want it quick fast with good graphics card, memories not a huge issue as ill use an external hard drive to save most of the stuff on to.
any help would be much appreciated.

The CPU alone is worth nearly the £150
I'd take them both off you

You've got to ask the question though, why so cheap?

If the processor alone is worth £150 it doesn't say much for the rest of the parts.

What sized assemblies will you be running on Solidworks? I'd recommend an x64 processor, dual core and 4gb of RAM for your medium sized assys. As for a graphics card, if you can't stretch for a Quadro then go for one of GeForces which can be turned into a Quadro using RivaTuner so that you can enable RealView and some of the other acceleration features. Dual screen is always good for Solidworks too as you can have a file explorer open on one window, and CAD on the other, though I'm just running 1 22" Samsung at the moment.
I built my machine using parts from ebuyer who have always been good for me
