not really clued up on this - need little help on how it all works
after a pay and go one if there is - just want it for when little 1 is in hospital for couple weeks really - if better than wireless connection at home may use it for longer

They're quite expensive if you're only going to use it for a few weeks. Mine cost about £70, though that did give me three months access.
Mine works really well though, faster and more reliable than our main broadband at home anyway

I have a 3 pay as you talk one I will happily sell you if you like. I used it for 3 months in my old student house but then moved into a house with a proper internet conection. Its pretty decent, i had a low signal strength in my old house and it was more than adequate for general surfing/light downloading. Drop me a u2u if your interested

On my '3' dongle when your data allowance runs out you go onto the three website (it still lets you on even if you have no data left) so that you can just pay for a new top-up straight away.
You then convert the cash to a data package which you can use for another month.
