Greets. For the benefit of those with short attention spans, question first then background.
Question:
I need some kind of solenoid locking system for my hatch. Do Corsa hatch solenoids exist or is there a near match from another vehicle or something?
Background:
1999 Holden Barina, Australia (Vauxhall Corsa B in britspeak). It's a Barina 'Swing', ie. 1.4L MPI 8V 5door. It had remote central locking put in before delivery but the hatch wasn't included in the system. I want a solenoid that I can connect to the central locking system which will lock and unlock the hatch with the doors - a double solenoid that can both lock and unlock the hatch as well as pop it open on a different trigger wire would be brilliant. "Smooth boot" mods have been done to other cars - presumably someone has used a solenoid for this rather than just a cable pull?
Thanks people.

if u need a hand fittin it in just ask me and i will send u a pic of mine. its easy.
Trouble is tho ive blown 3 solenoids already.
Two blew because the switch was in the NEGATive side, and one cos i left it on and it burnt out.
MAPLIN: central locking kit. (thats wot its called)
