Could be fuel pump relays or the pump itself is knackered.

could very well be the relay, if you cant here it prime and it isnt getting fuel up there it might be a goosed relay so thats the cheap option, if it still dont work then rear seats up and take a ganders at the pump..

Get to the pump and take it out then once removed put a earth and live on the ends of the pump and see if it works or not, sounds like a buzzing noise?

done the fuel filter yet.. as it sounds like pump is ok and the relays ok.. also chech the fuel lines under the car as they could be crushed (blue plastic hoses)

why dont you see if its getting fuel to the rail? take off the black cap that looks like a tyre valve cap and push the pin in. if it squirts fuel out at high pressure then your getting good amount of fuel! If theres no fuel then you have a problem
I had this problem, it was one of the pins on the plug that goes into the pump! take the pump cover off so the fuel is revealed but leave the pump in the tank, then get a long piece of wire and conect it to the pump, make sure its a good conection becuase you dont really want it to spark then wire it to the battery then try to start it!
