my head gasket has gone about literally about 2 hours and my next door neighbour has a 2.0 nova with a 1.6 gsi engine with full rebuild so i was just wondering if the 1.6 nova gsi engine will fit into a 1.2 corsa sxi 99 will i need to make any changes to the mounts whats the wiring and drive shafts like?

It will probaly be alot easier to just fix yours. The wiring on a 1.2 is a bit ghey iirc also you would need new shafts, different mounts. You may aswell put a 2.0 16v in for all the work you would do to get the 1.6 in.

i know but want more power than 1.2 and less than 2.0 due to inusrance

Nova GSi engine is easy enough, is it a C16SE or C16XE though? The Nova GSi engine is the C16SE.

its 1.6 16v engine from a nova gsi so not sure wat it is

Nova gsi engines are 8v so it must be a corsa engine that was in it so will fit in yours fine
