they have circlips so they will need some force to go in i use a rubber mallet to get them in.

do what John said, or if you don't have a rubber mallet, put the castle nut on a few threads and use normal hammer so you don't wreck the threads on the outer cv

noo dont use a normal hammer the castle nut will distroy the threads on the shaft i made this mistake on a car before
