on the corsa B's. Or did they change the bottom bit with the two holes where it goes through the lower arm

We list different part numbers for pre and post 97 and they do look slightly different where you describe.

post 97 have a kink in the arm balljoint.
pre 97 is a straight arm on the balljoint.

Hole spacing is different aswell. Therefore the wishbones and tierods are different as well.
