mates corsa sport 1.4 16v is hittin the rev limiter at 5500 rev now instead of his before of 7000 rpm.
Now the only things that have been done is the inlet taken right off including lower part for access to the water pipes behind, the only thing i can find is there is a ilttle plug that seems to have no where to go, the wiring comes from just underneath the wiring bottle, could this have anything to do with it, i told him to allow the car to idle for 5 minutes after he got it all back together which he did.
the only mod in that area is a power box.

normally a sensor when they do this, either knock, crank or cam sesor

well i was slightly wrong its hitting just under 5000rpm does the fuel rail need to be bled atall? cheers

no fuel rail shouldnt need bled '' never had this problem before ''

well we still dont seem to be gettin any where , thanks for all help so far any other ideas?
it doesnt sound like the normal limitter, i dont know if this is just because its hittin lower down the revs or not but it sounds slightly different to normal
