Any recommendations?
Long battery life, bluetooth would be nice and ideally Windows XP rather than Vista / 7, although if needs be I'll wipe it and reinstall XP.
Been looking at this: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/195808 like the idea of it being remotely robust too as it'll be used in the van mainly.
Cheers

Do they actually work effectively though?! Am happy to pay a bit more than that for one lol.
Just looked at that Asus - looks very good for the money, but the 4 hours battery life isn't so That Samsung is 10, I need something with a long battery life.

Get a Dell with a 6 cell battery then mate
35W chargers as well so you can charge it with an inverter in the van (I assume thats what it's for?).
If you need some advise or spec'd or any tech shit sorted I'm happy to help!

Yup it'll be used predominantly in the van and I had vaguely thought about getting an inverter as a backup too - has to be 35w for that yeh?
Will look into the Dells as well then cheers matey

Danke
I have toyed with the idea of a 3000w inverter and 2nd battery set up as a solution to my lack of genny, but even they only last about an hour of hoovering And isn't a cheap set up to get fitted to the van so that it all charges back up when driving, cuts off when running low etc etc lol.

Is it for properly working on or just browsing the net?
I would have thought an iPhone would be better for carrying about and you could put the cost through your business to save the tax as well

For proper work - not what I do atm but for an expansion to the business that will be revealed soon
I already deal with emails and surf the net on my Blackberry

Ordered £239.97 delivered from Comet using some discount code I found lol. I looked at Dell, but they're too fooking pricey.

Why? What sort of problems?
Gets decent reviews all over the place that I found tonight.
Dell was well over £300 for anything with similar spec!

I've got the asus 1005ha
http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/laptops/260476/asus-eee-pc-1005ha/2
Got the version with windows 7 on it and have put 1gb of ram in it because I wanted to run some more demanding stuff on it. No complaints here though, good battery life!

Nothing wrong with the NC10 I've had one for a couple of years and it's been great.
