my mates just got an asus eeepc 1005hgo netbook with a built in orange sim.
i quite like the idea of one of these for college, buit shes on a £30/month contract for 24 months! fuck that!
whats the best deal to go for? dont mind paying a bit for the laptop, she got hers free. i want one thsats got the built in sim though not a dongle

Don't bother, might as well just buy a decent laptop or netbook outright. For the amount you pay over the contract you could get something much better.

Do you actually need mobile broadband?
If you really want it the best option is to get a MiFi from 3 - it's a little device that sits separate to your computer and sets up a wireless network which more than one device can access at once.

i dont need it really no, but i want it found this asus is only £250 so will probably buy it outright but want a sim in it

No point getting it just for the sake of it, fixed broadband is a much better deal and faster.
I would assume if you can find the exact same laptop it would have a holder for a sim card but you'd want to check with the supplier tbh.

Look for WWAN, if it's got that you can put a sim in it.

no i mean where do i get the internet deals that do it with a sim? all i can find are dongles. it would be handy for college is all
