A while back iTunes 'organised' all of my music into folders of artist, album, songs, which I don't like. I mainly have single songs and compilation albums.
Is there a way to 'export' all files/folders from within folders
eg
music/
artist a/compilation a/song1
artist b/unknown/song2
artist c/compilation a/ song3
Can I firstly get all the sub folders (compilation a and unknown) out, then once I have all of compilations together, get all the actual files out?

I think this would work, but I haven't tested it and it might give you a few extra hits.
If you do a search on your Music folder for *.mp3 for example, it should give you a flat list of everything in sub folders.
In this list, you should be able to highlight all, Right Click, Cut, Paste somewhere else.
Might want to test it out first.
