lets be honest its just a router for connecting to the internet.
It routers arent generally any more quicker than each other for surfing the net.
In terms of wireless its pretty reasonable, ive set one of these up in the past and its as good as the rest.

So it's reliable? Is actual wireless speeds faster if the laptop/whatever has a N card in it?

yes.
But what are you looking "speed" for?
Unless your streaming videos, large files it'll be more than adequate for for surfing the net.

I just got a Netgear which replaced a trust Edimax we'd had turned on for about 10 years with no time outs.
Netgear has been 100% so far.

Decided to get the DGN1000 today, only £39.99 from Maplins - bargain!
This thing is quite small... Well compared to the behemoth that was my old router!
