Hi, I think my PSU may not be powerful enough to run my system as when I installed a new hard drive, it occasionally doesnt load. I got a BIOS error saying that the overclocking had been returned to default settings (this has been OC'd for nearly two years without problem). If I unplug one of the other hard drives the system loads fine. I have got the system running by running the BIOS on standard settings.
Is this the signs of an underpowered system?
This is my spec:
Core2Duo E4600 @ 2400mhz (was @ 3000mhz until this problem)
3 x Samsung 1Tb spinpoints
1 x random 400Gb hard drive
1 x LG bluray drive
4 x 1gb RAM (unsure what type)
1 x ATI HD 4670
3 x case fans
1 x PCi sound card
Think the current PSU is rated at 380 watts.
If my PSU isn't powerful enough, what should I be looking at?
Thanks for your help.
