I need a change of ISP, I'm currently with AOL and the service is fucking shocking, recently having problems again which have been ongoing for ages, constantly ringing them up asking what the fuck is going on, about to go fucking homosapien on some cunt when they answer the phone
Anyway, who are you with and who do you reccomend? what do you pay?
Looking for unlimited browsing and downloads, 8mb?16mb?

TalkTalk are shocking when something goes wrong so take that into account if looking at them, exchange also has to be unbundled, check on http://www.samknows.com/broadband/broadband_availability

Well, after 2 days of the internet not working properly I phone up and give them a bit of a lip, he puts me on hold to 'check some settings' and it starts working properly, convenient that.

I've just gone with Plusnet - 15mb broadband and free evening/weekend calls - £22.
60GB cap though. Not sure many people will get through 2gb per day.

I'm on BT Total Broadband Option 3 for about £15pm. They're offering BT Infinity for £17pm as an upgrade.
If they hadn't done me a deal I'd of gone with Be

Virgin 50mb has no limitations on it at the moment? Dno if that'd be a bit expensive just for you. We have it in our house and download at around 6000KB/s.

Anything is open to consideration at the moment, something has to be better than AOL

I would of gone with Virgin but it's not in my area
Might go for Infinity but it involves having a dirty engineer come over

i'm with plusnet, they're pretty damn good, and they have a good bunch of guys on the support forums should you need them. Just a shame I have an exchange that won't give me more than 1.5mbps and is not unbundled

Find out what's in your local area and go from there. If it's anything like my villages exchange then it's non-LLU'd shite.

I was with BT for 2 years and towards the end of that we hit loads of problems. Switched to Sky and saved £10 odd a month for broadband and have had at least twice the speed for it. It's coupled in a deal with the TV and Phones.
