Hi, I'm new here, name is Ron, I live in Holland, own a corsa c 2006 1.8. Runs good, just a little bit noisy engine above 3000 rpm. I wanna do 2 things: try to eliminate as much as I can from the noise. Thinking about using something like Vibraflex of Acusticab. Anyone any experience with that? Results??
Second thing is chip-tuning, is it worth it?? Gains on bhp?? Now it should be 125.
Thanks for reading and replying!!
Greetings
Ron

You want to make your car quieter or it is making a sound it shouldn't? Do you have standard exhaust etc?
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Hi, the engine sounds and runs good, but just gets a little loud above 3oo0 rpm.
I thought I could keep enginesound and sound from tyres a little away from the inside by applying Vibralex or something else. I do have a not-standard exhaust, but the noise comes from the engine, not the exhaust.
Thanks for the reply!!

I'd be investigating why your engine is getting loud and fixing that rather than just masking the sound!
