my mate has a ps3 and wants to know will it play mp4's off a portable HD (usb powered)
reason i ask as i do HD filling full of mp4 films he wants one but not sure if it will work

i also read somewhere that the HD need to be formatted in fat32 is this correct?

Correct with FAT32.

MP4 films are going to take ages to convert, unless you download them already converted.

lost me on the coverting will the ps3 play mp4's as i have 362 films all in mp4 on my pc
