had a few problems like this on my 12v.. mine got a bit more extreme and started cutting out.
on mine there was a fault with the idle control motor.

mine judders....
If its revving alot and then i let off the revs drop upto a certain point level out then drop dramatically causing the car to judder. i thought i was down to the anti stall function keeping the revs up.
If in JUST on the throttle in traffic it starts juddering and i thought that was down to the anti stall shit anyone shed some light on that?

The idle control motor dampens the closing of the throttle butterfly. Can cause revs to fall to almost stall if its not working correctly. With the ignition on, press lightly against the end of the plunger to see if it responds

Yeah just ignition. That's right. Keeps it open slightly at idle to keep the revs right

Thanks mate, i was hoping not to have the engine long enough for it to matter but sometimes you must do what you must do!

Been running this 12v for 3 years with the same hope. Only ever let me down once on that same fault. Screwed 115 out of it on the M40 once.. was screaming its dick off though

Currently has about 1.5/2 litres of oil... the bitch will die haha
