I have an ASUS M2A-VM i think it is

I want to get a half decent GFX Card

I think I need a pci16x or something

can someone confirm this and suggest something fairly cheap that will run most, hdmi slot too

its just a case of connecting and installing drivers right?

You can get 512MB cards quite cheaply with HDMI output too (about £30-£40).

And yes PCIe x16 is correct.

ATI 4670.

I had this card before and it was very good, ran mafia 2 on medium settings perfectly well.
Didnt have a problem with any game with that gpu.

Best bet is to select a handful of cards that are in your budget (look on Scan.co.uk, Overclockers, Ebuyer etc) and google for some reviews. Overclockers Graphic Card sub-forum (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=3) is also worth a look; do a quick search and see if you can dig up any threads and have a read.
