oh thats fine mate, MOT'd it this morning no probs, only 3 maybe 4 is fully on. its when its off it rattles like fcuk
its like something under the handbrake itself is making the noise...
at first i thought it was something in the passenger door card, so had all that off and back on tightened it all up, then i thought it was the passenger chair, so had that out then back in and tightened up, then i thought it was somethings got stuck under the carpet or something so had that up....
deffo coming from the handbrake lol

Strange. There are heat shield under there the little holder for the cable could be touching? Does the stick feel wobbly side to side?

nah mate, heat shield is a little bent because the centre silencer hits it a bit and i made a few adjustments i.e extra exhaust rubber wedged between the two but the cable behind it is fine and not touching at all
think its the ratchet part of the handbrake, iv never done anything with these though... any info on them?
handbrake doesn't wobble ether

tighten the cable mate there could just be a little bit of slak on it. either by adjusting in the drums or tightening the cable with the adjuster above the back axle

Get under car, and rattle stuff about? Might give you a clue.
Might be something stuck above heat shield maybe?
Worn ratchet?
