get the add on with your bank. £10 ish a month and you get all sorts.

Much cheaper than stand alone phone insurance!

And Halifax have just bumped the excess for Iphones only to £100 on their insurance policies that you get with the 'Premium' Accounts

Escess is high. Although mine is not an iPhone my Halifax account cost me a 10er a month (which covers the AA membership in each month on its own) and the excess is £30. They do give you a fair bit of a package with the premium bank accounts

Natwest is £12 extra a month for me, but they cover my phone no matter what happens (£25 1st time, £50 2nd) + breakdown cover, travel insurance and some other nice benefits.

Doubt it, probably best reading their terms and conditions though, wasn't anything dodgy when I looked.

If you pay monthly and make a claim you will be required to pay the premium for the minimum term (12 months) in advance before we can authorise any claim. You are required to take all reasonable precautions to protect your insured item against loss, theft and damage.

Taken from the Protect Your Bubble site.. So if you make a claim you'd have to pay anything up to £72 to make the claim i guess. Not sure if you have to pay an excess on top of that? Couldn't see that anywhere.

EDIT: As soon as i posted that i read a £50 excess charge to make a claim, or an additional £25 on top of that to claim for a lost phone. So about £150 at the most to claim. Still cheaper than losing an iPhone and getting nothing back at all

iif you have to pay the full term upfront to claim does that end the policy? im thinking about going with them but im just gonna pay the full 12 months upfront anyway
