Hello all. When im driving along my XE randomly just pops out of gears (mainly 2nd and 4th when cornering right) the gears just dont feel right compared to other XE's ive had a go of, For example 1st feels like its in reverse its that far over. I had a look at the engine and it is sitting slightly squint so thought it may have something to do with the rear gearbox mount? Would it be worth replacing that and the linkage at the same time? Gear linkage hitting the rack
Either bend the part hitting towards the engine slightly (youl see what i mean if you look) or use a conversion/extended linkage and rear spacer

put the car in neutral undo the 13mm on the end of the selector rod and get a mate to hold it in neutral thentwist the linkage over to the opposite side that you cant get gears on and tighten the 13 back up and your gears should be there, this providing your not hitting anything
