I deleted the other thread for various reasons. For those interested, Apple replaced my iPad free of charge. But only because it was still in warranty.

I didn't bother asking for store credit to get the new one, thought it was taking the piss a bit. Just glad I've got a new one.

To be honest, I was pretty underwhelmed by the new one anyway. Admittedly the screen is awesome, but the rest wasn't great.

im not impressed either. would have sold up to upgrade but if i sell it it will be to buy a macbook air
